Collection: Cone Check Valves

Cone Check Valve designed with a cone-shaped plug that moves up and down within the valve body to control the flow of fluid. When the fluid flows in the desired direction, the cone is lifted off its seat, allowing the fluid to pass through with minimal pressure loss. However, when there is backflow or a reversal in flow, the cone is forced back onto its seat by the pressure, preventing the fluid from flowing backward into the system.

Cone Check Valves are designed to prevent backflow into sensitive systems and are often equipped with special seals to ensure leakproof operation, especially in applications where tight shut-off is essential.

Both Swing Check Valves and Cone Check Valves serve the purpose of preventing backflow, but they do so using different mechanisms. Each type has its own advantages and is chosen based on factors such as flow rate, pressure requirements, and the nature of the fluid being handled.
